Nexus is a hand held operator control unit (OCU) for the control of robots and other wireless video enabled devices. It solves the key problems in tele-operation, by integrating high speed digital video and a low latency motor control into a single unit which adjusts performance based on actual radio conditions and range.
The Nexus offers users a video game-like interface, using a graphical heads up display super-imposed over the video (in order to allow the robot’s video to utilize every available pixel on the display). It also features advanced digital video recording, telemetry, and user annotations to flash memory for playback and integration into enterprise systems for analysis.
