Dispatch
Dispatch is a lightweight application that allows you to aggregate multiple Internet connections into a single faster, encrypted connection. The system efficiently makes use of all available network links (such as Wi-Fi, WiMAX, satellite, tethered 3G, etc) on a laptop to provide significantly faster throughput than would normally be realized under a traditional 3 layer routing configuration. Dispatch is scalable to up to 30 simultaneous uplinks and requires no modifications to either server or client side applications.
Use Cases
As Internet connectivity becomes more and more ubiquitous we often have access to a wide array of network uplinks from nearby Wi-Fi hotspots, to open ethernet jacks, to 3 or 4G capable smart phones. Instead of being forced to choose one, Dispatch allows you to utilize them all for a faster, more reliable connection. On the other hand, while many practical applications exist in situations where Internet connections are plentiful, in remote locations Dispatch can combine two or more faint or unreliable network links into an acceptable connection.
